David Prince

Since 1995 David Prince has practiced extensively in all areas of visa applications, merits review and judicial review, and has established a reputation for successfully solving difficult immigration cases. He is regularly consulted by barristers, solicitors and migration agents on complex issues of immigration law.

David has been accredited as an immigration specialist by the Law Society of New South Wales since 2000. There are fewer than 40 accredited immigration solicitors in New South Wales.

David is also a member of the NSW Specialist Accreditation Immigration Law Advisory Committee. The Committee operates to assess applications for specialist accreditation in the area of immigration law.

David lectures at the Australian National University Graduate Certificate of Migration Law and Practice course. David has been awarded the ANU College of Law 2013 Award for Teaching Excellence (Sessional Teaching) and the ANU 2014 Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Education.

Over many years David has lectured on immigration law topics for numerous professional organisations, including the New South Wales Law Society, the Law Council of Australia, the New South Wales Bar Association and the Migration Institute of Australia.

In 2003 and 2006 David edited the Immigration, Citizenship, and Passports Chapters of Halsbury’s Laws of Australia. He has also authored the Citizenship and Migration sections of Australian Encyclopaedia for Forms and Precedents.

David is an active member of the Law Council of Australia’s Migration Law Committee. Through the Law Council, he participates in national debate on immigration law and policy and contributes to Parliamentary submissions.

David has been recognised in 2008-2018 as one of the country’s finest immigration lawyers through inclusion in Best Lawyers – Australia, Immigration Law. In 2012 and 2017 he was voted Lawyer of the Year, Immigration – Sydney.

David Prince graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws.

David is admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. David is a registered migration agent, MARN 9579835.

Joanne Kinslor

Joanne Kinslor is a specialist immigration lawyer who has extensive experience and exceptional knowledge of immigration law. Her clients appreciate her dedication to solving complex immigration problems and winning difficult cases.

Joanne has been accredited as an immigration specialist by the Law Society of New South Wales since 2006. There are fewer than 40 accredited immigration solicitors in New South Wales.

Joanne is Course Convenor and Principal Lecturer of “Australian Immigration Law and Practice” at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) as part of the university’s law degree programme. She is also an affiliate member of the Andrew and Renata Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law.

Joanne is an active member of the Law Council of Australia’s Migration Law Committee. Through the Law Council, she participates in national debate on immigration law and policy and contributes to Parliamentary submissions.

Joanne has also lectured for the Australian National University Graduate Certificate of Migration Law and Practice course and she presents lectures on immigration law subjects for the legal profession.

Joanne is past President of the Management Committee of the Refugee Advice and Casework Service (RACS), a legal centre which provides pro bono advice and assistance to asylum seekers in Australia. For several years Joanne was a Member of the Human Rights Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales.

Joanne has been recognised in 2008-2018 as one Australia’s finest immigration lawyers through inclusion in Best Lawyers – Australia, Immigration Law. In 2016, Joanne was voted Immigration Lawyer of the year – Sydney.

Joanne graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons).
